Blue Blood is a collaboration between Iro Costello and Andre Kamienski. The film explores the beauty of abandoned, forgotten spaces and recalls the life that once existed inside them. Through movement, the energy of the space is resurrected and transformed. The body and the dance become a vessel, a deathless hybrid, a sacred void, an open sky.
Blue Blood was born out of the experience working within The Old Central Saint Martin’s Building, a space which nurtured creativity with it’s vast silence and whose ghosts observed our creations with an unintrusive vigilance.
Showed as part of Trans Day of Joy / Fringe! Queer Film Fest in 2021.
